Wyoming Congressional Awards postpones April 5 ceremony

CHEYENNE, Wyo.- The Wyoming Congressional Award Council has postponed the 2020 award recognition ceremony, scheduled to be held on April 5, due to coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns. The board plans to reschedule the event later this year.

Despite the event's delay, medalists still need to email their photo and bio information to tobi@wcac.us to be included in this year's program book.

During the award ceremony, Wyoming's Congressional Delegation will award over 90 high school students bronze, silver and gold medals. The students earn medals depending on the amount of community service hours they completed, as well as their development in three other areas: physical fitness, personal development and expedition or exploration.
