Our 2013 Wyoming Congressional Award Recipients are...

Alumnus Caroline Morris realized her desire to move to Washington, D.C., during her travels to D.C. to receive her Gold Congressional Award Medal in 2002.

Alumnus Chelsie Collier’s goal is to make a difference in the lives of children as she saw the impact an adult can have on a child during her time in the Wyoming Congressional Award program.

Alumnus Ciara Thompson hasn’t lost her love for music since she earned her Gold Congressional Award Medal. “My Personal Development goals especially influenced my life and job choice,” she said. “My exploration into my singing abilities made me decide that music is what I want my life to be about.”

Bessie Bucholz is a Bronze and Silver Congressional Award Medalist. Today, she is a professional fly-fishing guide during the summers.

Kristen Edwards, formerly known as Kristen Kirk during the program, earned the Bronze, Silver and Gold Congressional Award Medals. She received her Gold Medal in 2000.

Kali Goins, formerly known as Kali Gentleman during her time in the program, earned her Bronze, Silver and Gold Congressional Award Medals and Certificates. She received her Gold Medal in 2009.

Interns assist Congressional Award Program Managers with the promoting, publicizing, and overseeing of the foundation and its day-to-day operations.
